TWO YEAR WHIPPLE-VERSARY!

I cannot believe that it's only 2 years today since my Whipple procedure. It seems like it's been a lot longer than that. I am glad to have reached a "new normal" even though it seems as if that changes from time-to-time. I am very blessed to be alive...especially in light of the mortality and complication rates associated with having a Whipple procedure. I am looking forward to being home for Christmas and not in the hospital.

Your blog about living with FAP was so inspirational and informative to me. I too live with FAP and have had my colon removed and am facing a whipple in the very near future. Thank you for your words of wisdom, experience and comfort. I hope we can remain in contact and would appreciate your friendship. Best wishes to your beautiful family.
